Campaign Update - Week of 2/7/2011

Clearing up confusion on hearing for Reggie
We received many calls and emails about information distributed regarding a hearing for Reggie on this Monday. This is NOT the long awaited hearing that will be set up by Judge Manners, the Special Master. The Justice for Reggie Campaign, in conjunction with Reggie’s attorneys, will make sure you get such important information in a timely way. We regret any confusion.

Trial for Todd Shepard on February 28
For those of you who may be interested in observing a death penalty trial, unfortunately a high profile one is coming up this month. Shepard is accused of killing a U City police officer and the trial will be personally prosecuted by Bob McCullough, St. Louis County Prosecutor. The trial is scheduled for 9am on Monday, February 28 at the St. Louis County Court. I will send more details as the date gets closer.
