Sister Helen Prejean Endorses Clemency for Reggie


Sister Helen Prejean was the keynote speaker at the annual Missouri Association of Social Welfare (October 24-25, 2006) held in Columbia, Missouri. Sister Helen, one of the world’s most renown death penalty opponents, and author of “Dead Man Walking”, has joined the growing list of “influential endorsers” supporting clemency for Reggie. The campaign also set up a literature table at the conference, distributing information, collecting signatures for the petition and selling Support for Reggie paraphrenalia.

Know Your Rights Workshop, August 2006


Faheemah Thabit, American Friends Service Committee, facilitates a Know Your Rights Workshop. The workshop request came out of her appearance on “Reggie Thursdays” radio program that talked about what rights citizens have when they encounter law enforcement.
