Human Rights
International Human Rights Day is December 10. This is the day the United Nations adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. It is a time for us to recognize the lack of human rights in this country and re-commit ourselves to the global struggle to respect and uphold human rights for ALL.
One of the human rights activities that we encourage Reggie’s supporters to take part in is Amnesty International’s Global Write-a-Thon. The St. Louis event is Saturday, December 11th from 3:00 - 9:00 pm at Schlafly Bottleworks (7260 Southwest Ave. Maplewood, MO). There will be plenty of table space for letter writing. Look for Derrick Redhead who will be happy to assist you with your letter for Reggie.

5th Anniversary
The Justice for Reggie Campaign will recognize its 5th anniversary on Wednesday, December 15 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Legacy Books & Cafe will host the event at 5249 Delmar Blvd. The program will include a few speakers and a letter writing session as we participate in the Amnesty International’s Global Write-a-Thon. GYA Galley’s Dail Chambers will talk about Reggie’s art project. Please join us as we re-commit to the fight to free Reggie.
Don’t forget! There are upcoming opportunities for collecting signatures for Reggie’s clemency. The Kwanzaa Expo is this weekend end and a number of holiday events are coming. You can also turn in any completed clemency petitions for Reggie at the 5th anniversary event.
