Campaign Update - Week of 9/13/2010
From Reggie
Reggie is doing well and in good spirits—thanks to the birthday celebration and the birthday greetings he has received. He thanks you all for the important efforts on not just his case but in eliminating the death penalty in Missouri.
No word on the DNA test results.
No Tomorrow Documentary
On Wednesday, September 29 at 7:00 pm, the Missouri History Museum will host this award-winning documentary that covers a death penalty trial and brings to the fore all the voices who participated—prosecutor, jury, family, witnesses, etc. It is free and open to the public.
Justice for Reggie Campaign will have a literature table at the showing and will be collecting petition signatures.
World Day Against the Death Penalty
October 10th (10.10.10) is the international day set aside to move the world closer to complete abolition of the death penalty. This year targets the US as one of the last of the industrial nations to abolish the inhumane punishment and to support those in this country who are fighting against the death penalty. Last year, the US handed down 106 death sentences. As we get close to that day, we will make suggestions about how to honor WDADP with action.
“Enough Already!”
