Lobby Day for a Moratorium on the Death Penalty
Pictured are Sam Millsap, former Texan prosecutor, who is now a death row penalty opponent, and Rep. Bill Deekend®, the sponsor of moratorium bill HB484. Other speakers included are Darryl Burton and Bess Klassen Landis (also pictured). Burton was exonerated last summer for a murder he didn’t commit and Landis is a family who survived her mother’s horrific death 40 years ago.
