New Developments on Missouri’s Death Machine
Since our last campaign update, we have found out that the Missouri Department of Corrections has hired a nurse and anesthesiologist to perform executions. This is a sign that the state is gearing up to re-start executions. There are still legal challenges pending on Missouri’s particular method of lethal injection, allowable even with the US Supreme Court’s recent ruling upholding the current application of lethal injection. But we cannot take anything for granted. We must gear up our efforts too.
We need 3 things from you right now:
- 1. Talk about Reggie’s story to others; distribute and/or email the fact sheet to your contacts.
- 2. Get people to sign Reggie’s petition (hard copy or online at this website).
- 3. Make a financial donation to the campaign; mail to the PO Box below.
Clemency Petitioning
Listed below are details for upcoming events at which to collect signatures for Reggie’s clemency. Please let us know if you can help out during any of these dates so that we can coordinate. Remember there is no age, residency or voter requirements for signing the petition.
